Model Type- If your fire risk is Freely burning materials: Wood, Paper, Textiles etc, then Water, AFF Foam & ABC Powder extinguishers are most effective.
- If your fire risk is Flammable Liquids: Petrol, Oil, Fats, Paints etc, then Carbon Dioxide, AFF Foam & ABC Powder extinguishers are most effective.
- If your fire risk is Flammable Gases, then ABC Powder extinguishers are most effective.
- If your fire risk is Electrical Hazards, then Carbon Dioxide & ABC Powder extinguishers are most effective.
- All Extinguishers are Kitemarked to BS EN 3
- Fire Ratings:
- Carbon Dioxide - 2kg is 55B and 5kg is 70B
- AFF Foam - 2L is 8A:55B, 6L is 21A:183B and 9 is 27A:233B
- ABC Powder - 1kg is 5A:55B, 2kg is 13A:89B, 6kg is 43A:233B, 9kg is 55A:233B
- Water - 6L is 13A and 9L is 21A
- Water Mist - 6L is 21A
- Wet Chemical - 6L is 21A:113B:75F
